Blessed who can express his deepest fears in color
With a profound passion for the arts, I embarked on my creative journey by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Helwan University in 2001. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for a career that spans various disciplines within the art world, each of which has allowed me to refine my skills and express my artistic vision in unique ways.
Over the years, I have become an expert in stained glass design and implementation, transforming spaces with intricate, colorful patterns that capture light and evoke emotion. This specialization has not only been a professional pursuit but a form of artistic expression that blends craftsmanship with creative design. My experience also extends to the world of film, where I worked in film editing, learning the delicate art of visual storytelling and the power of narrative through cinematic techniques. This experience further strengthened my ability to merge creativity with technical expertise.
In addition to these ventures, I have worked in interior design, where my understanding of art has been put to use in crafting functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. The restoration of antique furniture has been another significant aspect of my professional life, allowing me to breathe new life into timeless pieces of history, preserving their charm while infusing them with a modern sensibility.
Throughout my career, I have continued to nurture and develop my artistic skills. I am fluent in Arabic, English, and French, which has allowed me to engage with diverse cultures and communicate my art to a broader audience. My artistic proficiency includes drawing, photography, mosaics, and stained glass, each of which I continue to explore and develop.
To further enhance my knowledge and expertise, I pursued a Diploma in Interior Design at the University of Brighton in the UK, a prestigious program that broadened my understanding of design principles and aesthetics. Additionally, I have participated in annual training programs in stained glass craftsmanship in Switzerland, under the esteemed mentorship of Michel Tschiniger, a leader in the field. I also had the privilege of training for a year at the workshops of Dr. Mourad Darwish, where I honed my technical abilities and deepened my artistic insight. Throughout my journey, I have been fortunate to work under the guidance of Dr. Abdel Aziz El-Gendy, whose mentorship has greatly influenced my artistic approach.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I find inspiration in two of my greatest passions: reading and traveling. Through literature, I explore new ideas and perspectives, constantly expanding my creative horizon. Traveling allows me to immerse myself in different cultures and landscapes, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas into my work.
In summary, my artistic journey has been shaped by a lifelong commitment to learning and exploration. Whether through stained glass, interior design, or the restoration of antiques, I continually strive to blend tradition with innovation. Each project is an opportunity to express my creativity, and my experiences, both professional and personal, continue to inspire and inform my work.
